Umgebung von Nusa Indah
Nusa Indah is located on a dreamy little bay, half-way between the traditional tourist villages of Padang Bai and Candi Dasa. The beach is part the Sengkidu community; it is adjacent to the "sea temple" of the village. This is where the people from the village meet to pray, sacrifice, chat, play or go for a swim at the end of the day. Please ask our staff for information.
Sengkidu is a tradtional balinese village. Here you will find a small number of hotels and restaurants in the neighbouring streets without the typical ‘touristy’ touch of discotheques, souvenir shops or endless streets full of boutiques. ‘Nusa Indah’ is perfectly suited for guests who look for a quiet retreat without missing comfort and solidity.
The nearest large village - Candi Dasa - can easily be reached by bike, motor bike or car, or even by foot, as it is only 3 km away. Candi Dasa is a well known holiday centre in the east of Bali where you find a variety of shops and restaurants. Not far from there you can visit the famous traditional village of Tenganan, where you still find the famous and ancient Double-Ikat-Weaving being practiced.
You can find the traditional Hindu temple compounds in almost every village around.
